Wowie wow. This ending just ripped the rug right out from under me. All the essence of witch that embodies being a woman and so much more. This book is a diary style recount of a teachers time in a new school, new town tryin to get by. Oh by does she get by.

this is a super slow book but it just had me hooked from start to finish. the horror elements don’t really come into play until the second half of the book, but they’re worth the wait imo. just absolutely loved this and it will be sticking with me.
