The audiobook was awful. The content was disturbing but the book was kinda choppy and didn’t flow well. None of the characters were likable.

I was looking for a suspenseful thriller and instead got a story about trauma and recovery. And while the road to recovery was understandably difficult, the story itself was unfortunately boring. While I felt Ella started off as a very strong character, she soon became incredibly weak character wise and self-pitying. It could totally be a me thing as weak characters tend to also weaken the story for me. Definitely had to push through with this one.
