This book is so well written. Seriously. I never want to read it again. Too upsetting. I kept wishing away the time because I needed to move past it. Not because of the quality but because of how heart wrenching it is. I couldn’t put it down, but I didn’t want to keep reading either. Haunting, beautiful, heartbreaking. The ending sentence gave me a shiver.

Is something wrong with me for giving this a 5 star? Gahhhhh my first Lucinda Berry and this mental health therapist is fan girling over the former child psychologist.

There were only two parts I fast forwarded through because it was a little much for me in details but I enjoyed:
