3.5 - I’ve seen this around while searching for shonen manga online and probably have had it recommended to me multiple times by a few people. I’ve just recently got around to reading it and I can see why they liked it.

It’s good, just similar to other manga I’ve read. I found it predictable. It’s charming, for sure. I just wish I had came across this earlier in my otaku career. A good description of this would be “bland but trying not be.”

I’m not sure about their pacing. It’s stop and go, which works in the overall plot, but not very well in the first volume.

I do like the author’s art style and their overall story so I’ll be continuing it.

The best manga and anime I ever watched last year and up until now. I just love how the story goes as it progress. As well as the main character, he's very compassionate, sympathetic, and definitely knows his priority. I don't want to make this any longer since I think I'll be giving spoilers. So yeah, great story, amazing character development and background.

Tanjiro Kamado makes a living selling Charcole. Him and his family live on a mountain, so he has to go down to the village to sell them. One day, his life is shattered when his family is killed by a Demon. Only his little sister, Nezuko, survives but is now a demon herself. Now, he sets out to kill the demon that killed his family and find a cure for his sister. So, he now has to learn how to kill demons to fulfil his quest.

I was very sceptical to start reading Manga because I had never really read them before. However my younger sister recommended this to me and I really liked it. I enjoyed reading it, and now I just need to find the next one.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE.

"When happiness ends there's always ... the smell of blood in the air."

This is the first volume of the Demon Slayer Saga. There are 23 volumes in total. Tanjiro Kamado heads down the mountain to sell charcoal in town to provide for his family. He returns home to his family slaughtered and his sister. Upon discovering that his sister has transformed into a demon, he vows to find her a cure as well as find the demon responsible; beginning his training as a demon slayer.

The anime is one of my absolute favorites. Although I knew what to expect, I still loved this manga and will be reading the rest of the volumes asap. I read this one in one sitting. Reading this has reopened old wounds and brought out the same feelings I had while watching the anime for the first time. I love Nezuko. She is the cutest little demon, and I love Tanjiro for never giving up on his little sister, no matter what.
