why couldn't EYE have read an interesting book like this for lit circles in elementary school??

this book, i think, was really sad. again, i only THINK. i have read ot though. if you want me 2 prove it, its in my bookshelf. (even though that proves nothing. ) only i dont ever put unread books in my book shelf.

This book took me just about a month to finish, it was an amazing book that emerged me in all sorts of topics. The story follows a young girl at sea who deals with racism and misogany from her predominantly white crew. It’s once again an amazing period novel that I would recommend to anyone.
