OH. MY. GOD. This was insane, utterly insane! I cannot believe that ending, I literally screamed. My heart is utterly broken, but it’s also so so so happy right now! Jan 30th needs to come soon!
Honestly, this Crescent City series has been magnificent since the beginning. House of Sky and Breath left me on the edge of my seat every chapter, constantly refusing to set the book down. The 3rd book has been pre-ordered and I cannot wait to see what happens with our cherished characters!

I liked this one! I’m really excited to see what happens next with Ruhn and the Asteri.
The ending was not what I was expecting and I’m here for it. I want to know where it goes and if it will overlap with another series, if you know you know.

Antroji Crescent City dalis - dar daugiau mažų siužetukų vienam dideliam siužete, dar daugiau antraplanių veikėjų įtraukimo, kurie praktiškai tampa pirmaplaniais, o kur dar visas magiškas pasaulis (ir aišku šiek tiek erotikos elementų).
Nežinau, ar išskirčiau, kurie veikėjai labiausiai patiko. Visiem duota buvo dėmesio, aišku daugiausiai teko Hunt ir Bryce. Gal iš visų kitų norėjosi daugiau Ruhn pamatyti. O gal 3-ioje dalyje bus? Vis tik neslėpsiu - vietomis truputį vargino šokinėjimas tarp skirtingų veikėjų. Žodžiu, everything everywhere all at once.
Aišku, jau net nebestebina tipinis Maas braižas tempti buildinti iki paskutinių skyrių ir gale numesti bombą. Visiškai nesitikėjau tokio finalo. Dabar tik dar įdomiau, kuo čia viskas baigsis.
