This book could have been sooo good as a multibook series. Giving us more time for the love story, the danger, the fight. It's a good idea but I wanted to know more about the world, the magic system, and the politics. It was a little thrown together but a nicely paced quick read.

Uma reescritura interessante de A Bela Adormecida, com todos os elementos de narrativas anteriores, acrescidos de muita magia, e uma discussão que pode ser comparada à questões de inclusão e / ou exclusão social. Gostei.

Beauty’s Cursed Sleep was an interesting retelling of Sleeping Beauty - with magic. Main character Rory (Aurora) is surrounded by her uncle Remus and best friends Henry (Prince and future King) and Adam (son of a prominent businessman). In a change, Rory is the daughter of the Chancellor.

I felt like the plot was very coincidental and things happened very quickly without any character or plot development. Despite this, I really enjoy the whole thing, until the end which felt rushed.
