I wasn’t sure id like this one as much By The Horns because I didn’t really like Goldie’s character in that book. I was so wrong. - this one is even better than the first one! Holly is such a relatable character and Goldie is secretly such a cutie. I liked the underlying video game story arc and the spice is really spicing in this one, again without overpowering the storyline.

I absolutely adored By the Horns and couldn't wait to dive immediately into another story by Croft.
A different vibe but it had me kicking and squealing all the same. I was so invested in this story and I devoured it very quickly.
Croft has an exceptional way of writing that it is heartfelt and hilarious all at the same time. Gorgeous work again and I cannot WAIT for By the Pint!

This is MY definition of a cozy fantasy.
Let me set the stage, your typical romance aspects and tropes but in a Fantast metropolis. I loved the characters, comedy, heart, and spice (so everything).
This book is beautifully tropey without falling into predictability.
If you are looking for an intro into fantasy from the romance genre, this book is it.

Honestly I never give out high reviews for romances because I'm a romantasy girl and I find the plot lacking in most of them. However with this one I was hooked. I absolutely loved it. I was a little worried in the beginning when he started using the term finger banging and the fact that she was so inexperienced but that didn't last long and I think added to the overall development. I was laughing and swooning and then crying! Sure there were some little things that I didn't like but I devoured it, didn't want to put it down. I will definitely be going back to read the first.

I loved this story!
It's humorously written, and Goldie, Holly, and all their friends are so adorable. I'm now really invested in seeing how all the flatmates find their fated mates 😍
