I am a vampire fan. I thought I had every version of vampire there is. Blood Type is a great combination of my favorite types of vampire books. The vampires in this story are powerful, have no real care for the humans other than for their blood, and cannot see beyond what they want. The exception to this rule is Beck. He cares but is still a vampire and has to play the vampire game. I love that he isn't able to show his hand but takes care of Reyna by pushing her away. From the beginning I knew there was more to Beck but I love that I had to read the entire story before I found out what that more was.
Reyna is honorable. She grew up poor and undereducated. Yet she wanted to do more. She wanted that job, that she wanted to be able to help support her family but she didn't know how. Until she found out about the new program that would make money to help her brothers and ease their burdens. That program led her straight to Beck. From the very first meeting the sparks were there. There was no doubt that while she was there to sustain Beck with her blood, there was something more between them. I was excited to read more and find out what would happen between the two of them.
Blood Type is a series and it ends with a cliffhanger. Usually this annoys me but with this one it makes me excited to read the next books.

2.5 | This gets like barely a 3. I feel kind of mad. It started off sooooo so so good and interesting and the world building was so good but near the second half and to the end it just flopped. The main characters became really annoying and kinda toxic. Also .5
OMG! This book was amazing! I love PNR and this one is a must read. The only thing I didn't like about this book was the cliff hanger. I need book two now! The chemistry is great, the story is fabulous, and the characters are well-written. 4.5 stars!!
Trust me you will want to read as much as you can about Reyna and Beckham and crave more. They try to fight it...there are secrets, lines not to be crossed, and so much more. It's a one click that you won't be disappointed in.

Intriguing, addictive, compelling, this book is the best vampire story I’ve read since the BDB series. I had stopped reading vampire stories, but this one called to me, drew me in, and captivated me. I loved the vampire world invented by this author. It is dark and dangerous, like a Mad Max vampire story.
Reyna applied to work as a blood escort for vampires. The world is now one where vampires co-exist with humans in almost peace. The economy had crashed and almost everyone lived in poverty. The largest company in the world, Visage, owned and operated by vampires, offered jobs to humans as blood donors, and many humans flocked to apply, wanting to escape starvation. Reyna’s two brothers work many hours for minimum wages and she felt she was too much of a burden to them. This way, she could live well, eat well, and send them money to improve their life.
Instead of being assigned into the usual arrangement of different sponsors on a monthly basis, she was offered a position as a permanent escort to a sponsor. Since this was double the pay she accepted the position and was introduced to her sponsor, Beckham Anderson.
When he arrives to pick her up and take her to his home, she’s struck dumb. He is perfection, and huge, and formidable. And yet, he is indifferent to her, very standoffish and curt. Once established in his home, she’s given strict instructions on behavior, being available to him when requested, and letting him know where she is at all times. The strange thing is, he never feeds from her.
Reyna gives Beckham a crazy ride, disappearing to visit her brothers, going out with the only human friend she found, asking questions all the time, demanding information, and getting into trouble several times. Beckham always comes to the rescue, scolds her, keeps her at arms length, and infuriates Reyna. Their chemistry is off the charts and yet he resists.
There are a lot of politics and interactions going on in the Visage vampire world. There are three other vampires who are the head of the Visage company together with Beckham, and they are powerful and ambitious. There is some business with blood census and negotiations with the President that just sound like world domination. The other vampires are not kind, they feel dangerous and predators.
There’s a lot of tension and intrigue, and a pervasive sense of danger lurking around, hidden and silent. Beckham is involved in a fight for power and the other two vampires vying for position are ruthless, uncaring of who they harm. This book was so intriguing that it kept me reading until all hours of the night. It ends in a cliffhanger, and is part of a three-book series. You have to read it!!
I requested this book from Net Galley to review.

Welcome to a world where Vampires and Hans exist together. K.A. Linde brings to life a world that will challenge the two main characters and make them come to terms over what the world is really like. Reyna and Beckham relationship starts off as just business but they will both stir feelings in each other they didn’t know were possible. Their attraction is electric and at each turn you will be waiting to see when they will finally give in to one another. Get ready to experience a new world that will spin everything on its axis and force them to see what is really going on.
Reyna is trying to help her family out and the only way to do that is to become apart of the Visage and providing blood. But when she is chosen for a new project and finds out she will be permanently placed with a subject, everything she has ever known is about to change. And when she meets Beckham, he will challenge her like no one else ever has.
Beckham is apart of the new Visage program and is already regretting it. He can’t deny the instant attraction he feels for Reyna but knows he needs to separate himself from her and keep it business. But as he spends time with her he can’t resist her, but can anything really work between a Vampire and a Human?
Together they will not only be faced with how they feel for each other but how their worlds work. But will they be strong enough to help one another? Or is it too much of a risk to trust one another?

2.5 stars. The book had potential to be good but it was predictable!!
At first this book made me sigh and roll my eyes alot but after awhile and quiet a few turn of events I got really really into the book and the characters. I don't overally like love triangles in books but this one didn't seem to ruin the book like others have done for me. I am really looking forward to reading the next book
YES! I loved this book so much! I loved how creative and different the storyline was. I loved the characters. Well some had to grow on me, but I fell for them all just the same. I loved the writing, the pacing. This was such a consuming book. I felt sucked into this world created by K.A. Linde. I loved that it had the angst and tension you would expect from a K.A. Linde book but in a paranormal setting. I absolutely cannot wait to read more from this series!
