All-Star Superman is still my favorite comic, but this was a really unique perspective. I’m back in my Superman era.

Superman For All Seasons is told in 4 parts, in every season. Each season is told from a different character’s POV: Pa Kent, Lois Lane, Lex Luthor, and Lana Lang. All of them detail their views on Clark as he progresses from innocent high school senior to a Superman that realizes his purpose in life. Nothing super flashy, which I love. The plot here is very down to earth and showcases Clark at his most vulnerable.

Yes, Superman does look like a thumb but the rest of the artwork is beautiful.

Totally get how this inspired the Smallville show. The character design with this art style isnt my favorite so thats the .5 off but everything else i loved. In particular, really enjoyed this character study of Clark Kent and Superman through the eyes of the people closest to him (and yes that includes Lex - prob my favorite issue was his POV)

Solid character study of Superman. Felt like a bit of a slow burn, but still a decent read. If you like superman you’ll probably like this comic.

Definitely a  comic worth adding to your comic collection. This story is exactly why we love Superman. This story had a lot of heart.
