My first audiobook!
There are too many unnecessary details in my standard. Some parts are touching, some are a bit too predictable/corny.

I haven’t read a heart warming tear jerker in a while and this was such a good vacation read. This book is so well written and you instantly fall in love with the characters. A great book to crush in a couple hours if you need a good cry. I will be putting the rest of them on my list!

The chapters were super long. Each one was someone else’s story. I enjoyed the found family. I contemplated DNFing this book multiple times but pushed through. Will not be reading any more of the series.
⭐️⭐️.5
Thoughts: Initially, I didn't really enjoy this. I didn't find myself wanting to finish it quickly or deeply hooked.
However,
Since reading it and having time to reflect and think about the book, it is actually quite cute! I like the concept of the 'magic' and the stories that were told were sweet.
Have you read this? What did you think?

Wow this is one of my new favorite books! It really made you reflect on life and how things work out and if you change your perspective on things , it opens a whole new potential of living life in a better way. I enjoyed how the rule of the cafe was that you can time travel but you cannot change the present. I thought this was an interesting concept because in a lot of books where time travel is a component, you CAN change the future. I also enjoyed how all the stories were interconnected and dug into matters like love and family. My favorite story I think was the last one, about Kei and her daughter. And how she was able to meet her daughter in the future despite passing away during birth. It made me tear up how all the characters in the book were battling different issues, like a lover moving away temporarily, a husband with dementia, a sister dying and meeting your daughter in the future after you pass away. These are all such heavy topics and it amazed me how the characters were able to time travel and change their perspective rather than the situation. Perhaps changing your perspective on things is the best way to live a happy life. And communicating with your loved ones.
