Interesting, almost 2 years later and this book reminds me of book 2 to the word.
The last story is psycho, and im devastated by it. Even though I read these out of order, I feel like thats the proper way to do this - it gives everything a wonderful spin.

A book about time travel that by designing a set of rules, the trip lasts as long as title coffee gets cold and can only be in one small cafe, creates a melancholy tale of missed opportunities, and fleeting moments. The most affecting of which is someone travelling to visit their partner before the onset of dementia. It deals with the traditional time travelling issue of mistakes not with them causing global catastrophes but profound moments of disappointment. It is a lovely book, both whimsical and quietly profound.

Choose this book if you want to go out of a reading slump. It was a light read that surprisingly inspired me to pick up Japanese again. The way this book written is so unique and different from Western literature, with how the emotions of people are portrayed and how the plot is explained, it is fascinating how different our cultures actually are
The plot itself is not very special, the main point was literally explained to you in a baby-way on the last page leaving you with no food for thinking, but I don’t think it’s necessary a bad thing. The division of book into the short stories gives you a very pleasant reading experience, picking the book whenever you want and leaving it for weeks after finishing one story. All events get repeated so you don’t lose track of the plot. I was not a big fan of the characters due to their lack of depth but they were functional enough to make me return to this book
I definitely got entertained with this one. Maybe gotta buy a next book to keep it in case i will get into the reading slump again heh
