I can say I enjoyed Aarons’s patience I apparently read this book 4 years ago and I didn’t realize it until I went to add it to my Goodnotes. This book had so much going on! Although Aaron is absolutely a controlling a**hole clearly Patience enjoys it because she wa madly in love with him and I feel only she understands him to the core. Now he could have absolutely handled things differently but good thing his ghost was there to help set him in the right path.
Re-read: upping my initial review, after going down the rabbit trail of this family further. I’ve developed a deeper love for this couple’s story.
As it seems I’m bouncing around this series- I have to say it helped my impression of book 4 (Tyler’s story). Not that Tyler had a major role in this story, it explains the weirdness for me when the story took a turn.
But again- just when I came to understand the darkness of the Townsend family. We’re hit with another curveball in the form of Emma. While it didn’t change anything for me overall with the story- it did seem random.
I liked Patience. However, Aaron was complicated. And it felt like some areas (between the couple) weren’t flushed out enough. Overall- I still enjoyed it and plan to continue reading the remaining books in the series.

Aaron is psycho but played no games when it involved Patience. This book is an example of loving someone starting teenage years. Loving someone so much that no one else can do it for you.
I loved this book so much and it made my heart hurt while reading but sometimes I just wanted to strangle Aaron over and over.
DNF. How does this have such high ratings?! They both need professional help especially Aaron before he hurts someone. The sex scenes are sexual assault especially the first one. Avoid at all costs.

Knocked it out of the park
I believe this is my first book by this author. I really loved seeing all the parts of Aaron. I didn't love the scene at The Cage. But it made sense as the story unfolded.
The dangerous side of the Townsends was unexpected. All of them? Wow.
And the fairies. That was an unexpected supernatural shock that I absolutely loved. I see that there is a book for Kyle already out and I can't wait to read it. But first I have to read Joshua's book next and the Prologue is promising that it will be another home run.
