While I enjoyed a lot of the conversations being had in this volume and think they did a good job of summing up what the author was trying to say overall, they felt a bit tonally inconsistent with the rest of the story because the author was being much more straightforward with his intentions than in the past. Similarly, the sudden emotional relationship with Migi felt out of place when that hadn't even been hinted at before. I also hated the random inclusion of a naked high schooler. Despite this, there were portions that I enjoyed, especially Shinichi meeting the older woman. It almost felt like an ending to a better story that I wished I could have read. Overall, this series has been fun and I appreciate what it was attempting, but there were many ways it could have been improved.

Un capítulo un poco pesado. La mujer se deja asesinar al comprender que el propósito de su existencia es ser cohabitante de la tierra con los humanos por ser especies superiores al resto. El niño queda en manos del joven para que sea educado por humanos. Shiki pudo dejar de huir de todos y afrontar el destino que va más allá de sus intereses. La policía y gobierno deciden hacer un frente de investigación por lo sucedido con el detective, pero al ser tan visceral, decide secuestrarlo y tomar venganza, algo que ella evita.

Ahora hay temas poco claros como el hombre que es capaz de identificar a los parásitos al ser asesino serial. Por suerte, Migi estaba dormido y Shiki logró mantener el control. Si trabajaran juntos, todo podría salir mal, ya que tendría que ocultar lo que es, para prevalecer en la justicia, algo que puede ponerlo en peligro. Los estudiantes no quieren hablar del pasado sangriento pero lo recuerdan todo y de mala manera.

Ya veremos lo que ocurrirá en adelante.
