I have just finished this whole series and it was absolutely fantastic.
Everything from the art style, the story, the characters - I loved all of it.
It has a seriously perfect ending, with all the loose ends being tied up and just the right balance of emotions.
I will not be forgetting this series anytime soon.
Even if you don't read manga, I highly recommend.

In the end, Parasyte doesn't really have anything to say other than what you've seen in countless other manga, but it's still a fun read throughout.

Goto is still alive after the crash
Migi has a plan to detach, use fire to distract, and sever his head
Migi failed to cut off the head completely and tells Shinichi to run and he dies felling lonely
An old lady, Mitsuyo offers him food and a place for the night. He spends some days with her doing tasks
Odd pile of garbage in the town
Remaining Migi cells give him false hope
Just before leaving someone witness to a parasyte (maybe Goto) leads them to a murder
Shinichi feels guilty and so goes off in the woods to kill him
-He finds him sleeping and fails to cut his neck but he has advantage bc he can't be sensed without Migi
He tries to spear his neck from a tree but fails and falls into the trash
-Goto gets distracted by the humans/police having a discussion and Shinichi takes the opportunity to stab him in a possibly weak spot with blood
The police notice the monster and Shinichi runs but Goto traps him with falling trees
-As hes about to die the remaining cells defend him, and cut Goto's arm causing him to die from the multiple parasytes wanting to run and the poison
Migi was inside Goto and so as Goto was desperately trying to remain alive couldn't kill him
-Shinichi felt pity for him and realized Humans were like Parasytes to other creatures; They are poison themselves
He decides to leave it to fate because he can't reconcile taking away ANY life
-He changes his mind though to protect his family and goes back to finish the job while crying
Parasytes continue to be in the world but more incognito
Migi says goodbye within a dream, says hes gonna sleep for a long time and process information and leave Shinichi with idea of him as a dream
Shinichi talks about how its foolish to apply human standards to other animals and that humans ultimately care for animals and the earth only for their own sake. But that its alright
Uragami spots Shinichi and lures him away to take Satomi
On the roof he kills 2 ppl and says humans are natural murderers too
Hes about to kill Satomi when Shinichi goes after him, but gets stabbed and she falls off the building
-When he thinks shes gone he thinks about the puppy on the road that dies and the Migi appears and says that it’s a wonderful trait for humans to be bored
he realizes he held her hand bc Migi saved her

One of the best manga series I've ever read. Not only a humanistic but also a very misanthropic story. Deeply sarcastic. Dramatic and funny.
