This was a quick and fun little satire. I appreciate books that make creative use of their actual writing, and this definitely did that. Beyond that, it was a cute little story. The appeal of this book is definitely the format, and the story is kind of just there. I think that this is something that I would have really enjoyed reading in middle school with a class, but I’m still glad that I gave it a read now.

More heart-racingly anxious than I expected it to be! If you like epistolary novels, word play, and metaphors for censorship and fascism, this is a fascinating read.

This book is very clever and quirky. I like how different it is from anything I've read before, and how much it relies on letters in every sense :). I practically read it in one sitting, meaning I enjoyed it thoroughly. Not the kind of book I'd read all the time, but a fun way to change things up.

Such a poignant book for the current government storm that we are experiencing. Was quite stressful in how poignant it was, but also was really fascinating to read a book that was written 25 years ago that aligns so much with our current world issues.
