If I'm honest, Mercutio was the best part of the play for me.
Si Julieta le decía a Romeo sobre su plan y si él esperaba 5 minutos más, ninguno de los dos hubieran muerto

I gave this book a 4-star rating because it was a good book about Romeo and Juliet falling in love with one another. After all, the conflict between their family leads them to upcoming consequences. As their parents don't accept a difference between their opposing situations. However, it could have been less exaggerated and more of a realistic story because of the unrealistic ending and what their love is led to.
However, I think the actions that led the characters to their love were acceptable because they demonstrated the strong love they had for each other, and the outcomes that were going to be resulted because of the powerful love they connected for each other.

As I teach this for the second time, I have found more things that I like and fewer things that I hate.
This book started me on Shakespeare. I really enjoyed it and have since read several more Shakespearean plays.

So I had to read this for English Class, and my Dad and my Sister both said to me: You will hate it. However, this was without a doubt the best love story i have ever read.
I never before really liked reading Shakespeare, even though all of my english teachers before had said" "but you see, he tells so many dirty jokes, how can you not like it" and my answer to that was always, "Yeah, but i never GET them," However. in this book, i really do get them. This book was funny and romantic and sweet and suspenseful, if only you take the time to look deep enough.
I don't believe in fate, and i most definitely do not believe in love at first sight, however, this book made me believe that in the story, both exist. I think that it was amazingly simple, and that is what made me believe that it really did exist.
I love reading plays because you're only really hearing the dialogue. In my class, my teacher always told us to "look for the subtext" because of course. there could be alot of sarcasm, and you would never know, if you weren't looking deep enough.
So basically, this book was without a doubt the best tragedy and the best romance book that i have ever read. It made me want to read even more Shakespeare. I love this book.
