I appreciated the funny moments even with tense chapters like the ones with Toby.

The physical comedy, the facial expressions, really balanced out the severity of some situations. A very enjoyable and emotional read.

What a book !
I have to admit I was intimidated by the size of it but don’t be fooled this is a very fast read. And a fascinating read at that, slowly unraveling details and developing the characters and the storytelling, a mesmerizing study of the self. Couldn’t put it down

A slow and difficult start for me, but I was so compelled by the concept that I stuck it out and I’m so glad I did. The structure and story are wonderfully unique. I look forward to Grove’s future works
