4.5 easy round up! Really great high fantasy with all the things you’re looking for: magic, gods, monsters, kingdom politics, wars of gods, found family, underdogs, and excellent cliffhanger endings.

idk if i’ll read book 3. i sort of liked this book and then it got bad. the main romance was a little better than the first book but all the other character arcs went downhill. and i strongly dislike when the main character can’t decide on a plan :(

622 pages and I was on my seat for every single one of them.
The book has great pacing and now I get some of the things that I felt were lacking in the first book. The detail in this series is amazing so far.
We find the answers to come of our questions, search for allies, and start a war. Her friends have a much bigger part to place and her romance gets a bit more complicated. The gods are now active members in this fight and the Casia must decide on a permanent identity.
The way these books end should be criminal because they are the biggest cliff hangers ever and I will of course be jumping right into the next book.
Spice: 2

I hate when the mmc ruins the fmc being a baddie. Like dayum let her save the day
