I just don't believe it. I like where the characters grow too ..I just didn't get to see the growth. Not buying it.

WHAT WHAT!!!! THAT ENDING.

Rating: 4.6..4.7...4.8 stars

I originally was going to rate this book 4 stars, but that ending really got me. The beginning of the book felt like a lot of filler. Despite the action scenes this book seemed it was on the slower side with a lot of traveling and politics. BUT Those last 100 pages really got me and I have to read the third book immediately.

Cas is still hard-headed and Elander is still out here trying to do his best. This book was particularly stressful for me because up until the last few pages I saw no good outcome to the end of this book.

Which is still not concluded lol this cliffhanger made me so upset. I don't even know what they are going to do.... these characters are KILLING ME. ALSO Cas's reincarnation and the source of her magic!!!! LOVE IT!!!

ANYWAYS the magic system in these books continue to grow and is fantastic. I'm excited to see what new elements are brought into the world in the last three books!
