This is my fourth book that I've read from Ms Freida and it was not the best. As someone who enjoyed The Housemaid, this book had potential, yet lacked quality plot twists and a thriller aspect. I found the story engaging at first, but it was too lengthy for the storyline. Also, it was predictable for my liking. Overall, it's definitely Freida coded (if you're familiar with the structure and tone of her books) and it could have been better imo.

The male perspective was a refreshing change, despite how frustrating Blake could be.

FMcF always delivers! Only 1-2 twists instead of 3-8 tho hahaha

She created a "basic bitch" man which was interesting.

Another reviewer noted repeated language throughout like it wasn't edited well and I did notice that too! Still readable
