One of my favorite Frieda reads!

The male perspective was a refreshing change, despite how frustrating Blake could be.

This book had me stressed out and wanting to know more!

FMcF always delivers! Only 1-2 twists instead of 3-8 tho hahaha

She created a "basic bitch" man which was interesting.

Another reviewer noted repeated language throughout like it wasn't edited well and I did notice that too! Still readable

McFadden does it again, folks! I felt uneasy, disturbed, and extremely intrigued. And somehow I didn’t see the plot twist coming! Classic. This one kept me entertained for my entire road trip, so hats off for that!

I was in a reading slump and thought a McFadden popcorn thriller would help get me out of it. You definitely have to suspend your disbelief for this one, but McFadden always gets me with her twists and I couldn't have guessed it despite trying and thinking I had figured it out. There was some cringy dialogue and I didn't love how she wrote Blake's character.

This book makes me think of the card game called Cockroach Poker. What? You’ve never played it before? Ok,here’s the premise: There is no winner and there’s only one loser. Yep. That’s what this book is like. 😆 Well,I read a Freida McFadden. The chapters were like potato chips. I hated every character. The twists were twisting. Was it a mystery? No. Was it a thriller? Also,no. My husband asked me multiple times if I was ok because my face was visibly horrified while reading this. 😆😆😜🙃Will I read another one of these? Probably not. But damn, if it wasn’t a crazy time.
