Silent Son by Alexis Menard
“She left him defenseless to a surprise ambush, and he didn’t mind surrendering.”

This second book had me texting Alexis almost every day. One time even had me order a drink from the bar!
Loved the spice, and the jaw dropping event in the middle. She also did fantastic with mixing fantasy with the actual mythology. Her writing really made me feel like I was right there with the characters.
But Vali will always be Daddy in this series. I don't care what anyone says. I loved that our girl Alyssa got back what she lost! And the ending was perfect!
I’m so glad Alexis sent this to me, cause I needed this so bad on this deployment! I can’t wait to see what she does next!
