Did this book bring back memories of going blockbuster, and renting the game to play it for the first time, the week it came out? Yes.
Would I recommend this book to someone who wasn’t interested in the game series, or has already played them? No.
It’s as if all the cut scenes from the game were put together to play out all at once. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a huge fan of the game series, so I enjoyed this just as much as watching say a gameplay video on YouTube. In my opinion it was nothing more than that.

I really love the game "Assassin's creed II" and I think it's the best game in the Assassin's creed franchise so far.
I really like how the Christina missions where you can find in "Assassin's creed: Brotherhood" in this book and how natural it blends in with the story.
And how can you not simply love Ezio Auditore da Firenze?

3.5 Star.
I'm currently playing the Assassin's Creed games on ps4, whilst simultaneously reading the books. I think without having played the game the book would have felt slightly incomplete and also without reading the book the game wouldn't have felt like it had gone into enough detail as you followed Ezio around as he tried to avenge his family and honor the Assassin's Creed.
I feel the book could have explored certain relationships a little further, really delved into the complexities in a way that would have taken way too long in the game had it of been included but overall it was a really solid read that was true to the game.

Wow this books was so fast pacing, it really kept me interested from page to page.
Basically it's a book about a boy, Ezio, who loses his family and finds he has a quest to complete.
If you have every played the PS2 games you will find this book interesting. I found myself remembering the game play. Even if you aren't into the games but like a good book with betrayal and skull duggary you will love this.
Now just have to decide whether to continue or try something different!

I played the game first and could picture every location from my experience in the game, that was unexpectedly nice and nostalgic :)
