*glass case of emotion*

If this book were a cupcake, it would be a Dark Chocolate Cupcake. It's tall, dark, and sinfully delicious, just like Kaidan Rowe. It'll satisfy that chocolate craving without jeopardizing your waistline--everyone knows dark chocolate is the healthy chocolate---and leave you coming back for more.

I LUV'D being in Kai's head and getting the chance to see the whole series from his point of view, LUVED IT!

The odds are stacked against him from the start. Sure, he makes his fair share of mistakes. Who doesn't? But after meeting Anna, Kai sees that good really does exist, it can triumph over evil and hope is not lost. The most important lesson he learns though, is love really can transform you.

If you let it.

That epilogue though...I cried when I read it from Anna's POV in Sweet Reckoning, but seeing it from Kai's destroyed my feels in the best way possible.

"Lust is the groveling cousin of love. It's the house made of straw and sticks. It cannot compare."

Kai's POV...sigh...

Me encantó. Lo ame. Mi Kaidan<3. Ay, dios, que bello. Msndkd.

Esto es perfecto para los fans de La trilogía Sweet.

I had been looking forward to this companion novel since I first heard about it and I am so glad that it didn't disappoint. I loved getting the Sweet Trilogy from Kaidan's point of view and I had quite a lot of fun being in his head. It was great to also see how Kaidan grew up (even to himself) and how his thinking of the world changed with each new experience that Anna gave him. Loved it.

She did it. She freaking did it.

Going into this book I was worried about how a condensed version of the series could compare the trilogy. I didn't just read this book I devoured it. Being in Kaidan's head is a wonderful, amazing and most definitely sensual journey.

Oh, the irony.

I had work to do and 'Sweet Temptation' sat there tempting me to reason it and many times I gave up on trying to do my work and dove into this instead. If you enjoyed the original trilogy and love Kaidan, read this. Just know you won't be able to stop once you start.

I found it boring and kinda unnecessary??
