Okay guys, now THIS is a book. The three "books" that preceded this were just that: "books". Not books, "books". They were empty and lacked character and purpose and haDAMN they were so hard to follow because they were soooooooooooooooo booooooorinnnnngguhhh
Kaidan is a billion times more interesting a narrator than Anna could ever be but the story still sucked THE END

Considero que es el que menos me gusta por como se va desarrollando la trama un poco lente pero sigue siendo BUENÍSIMO
4.5
Absolutely adored this book. I really enjoyed this series and Kaiden has to be one of my favorite characters of the series.

Just finished... UGH! I WANT MORE! Loved every word of this series and am sad to put it down for the first-last time. The ending being so emotional bringing tears to the surface. Showing me that with a little bit of faith and love, that your dreams can become your reality. Inspiring characters and a strong plot making this a must read. Be prepared for a broken heart by the end.
LOVED this one! Which is a strong endorsement for the series, since it's literally the entire Sweet Trilogy over again, only from Kaidan's perspective instead of from Anna's. As an author, this was a fabulous character study, getting into the mind of a bad boy through his character arc. Most of the time the main character is sympathetic from the start, so this was unique in that sense. But Kaidan was such a compelling character to begin with, and the Sweet trilogy itself (especially the dynamics between Kaidan and Anna) was so addictive that I plowed through this one in a few days, even though I already knew what was going to happen. I found myself anxious for what I knew was about to happen next, just so I could experience it through Kai's eyes. It couldn't have been easy for Higgins, a female former youth group leader, to write a foul-mouthed sex-obsessed 18 year old male--and she manages to make him seem so endearing!
I love reading this book. Getting inside Kai's head was amazing. The author did an excellent job at writing this book. Reading the series from another point of view was awesome.
I am going to try my best to convey my feelings in the most coherent way possible.
Here we go.
Guys, this book. Oh my gosh, this book. I thought I was in love with Kaidan. I thought our love was deep and true. But, I was wrong. It was not deep enough. I cannot explain how much more in love I fell with Kaidan over the course of the book. He is my precious cinnamon roll, and I will protect him for eternity.
Now that I've professed my love, let's continue.
I was pretty wary about this whole entire-trilogy-retolded-from-lead-male-point-of-view concept. I wasn't sure if it was going to make me like Kaidan less because I was now reading from his POV. One of the things I love about him is how mysterious he is, and I thought this would ruin that air of mystery for me. So wrong. So so so very wrong. The character growth and development in this book is INSANE. Kaidan grows and changes so much, and I absolutely loved having a front row seat for that. I also really enjoyed seeing pivotal moments in the story told from his POV. It was interesting to see how he perceived different situations and actions and decisions that Anna made.
Also, this is the second book that I can remember that made me cry. The love and commitment and beauty between Anna and Kaidan is so unbelievable. The undying and unselfish love they have for one another literally made me cry. Like actual tears, down my face, with sniffles.
If you are a fan of the original trilogy, and you have not read this yet: what are you doing?? Go read this right now. RIGHT NOW. Especially if you sigh for Kai, trust me. You will not be sorry.
