4.05 AVERAGE

The beginning and the end of the book are amazing. The middle is ok, good... nothing special - perhaps, because I read the other three books in the last 6 days and I can remember it pretty good ;)
The idea of reading the story from Kais view was cool, and the beginning and end was genius. In the middle it was more like a 'recap' of the books.

This is a short version of the whole trilogy from Kaiden's point of view. It was interesting getting his take on things but it had a lot of swearing in it since it was Kaiden's POV. So I still liked it but not as much as the whole trilogy from Anne's POV.

The epilogue made me cry like a fucking baby.

the epilogue changed lives

I can't really decide if I'm glad or not about reading this one. I really enjoyed the Sweet Evil trilogy and was more than excited to see that Higgins was writing a companion novel from Kai's POV. She even "warns" readers that Kai's thoughts are a lot darker than Anna's. I guess I just didn't realize how dark. There was a lot of crude language and remarks that I wasn't a big fan of . . . but I guess that it just Kai's personality.

Still debating on whether or not to write a more detailed review.

Kaidan is life *-* Loved this!

Thank you Sharon J for recommending this series to me. This was an amazing read. As the dedication says, this book is for the fans who love Kaidan. I love Kaidan so much. He is one of my ideal book boyfriends. This was an interesting and beautifully written book of all three main books in his POV. I am glad that I finally got to read this book because it made the story more interesting and I actually found his POV really funny and adorable. Kaidan may be a sexy bad boy with an accent, but I love seeing the side that everyone can relate to, the side he keeps hidden. I thought Wendy Higgins did a fantastic job retelling the story, and I really liked how fast the pace was and how the story was not rushed as well. I cannot wait to read more of her books. I am sad to see this series end, but I will revisit it again as I love it so much. OVerall, an incredible read.
