I loved this so so much and I am so sad to see the end of Kai! He will forever be one of my favourite book boyfriends ever!

Ok, #1, I'm so, so, so happy this book even exists. I ADORED Sweet Evil when I first read it, and when it started to gain popularity, I was happy so many were loving this series. Wendy Higgins astonished me when she announced this book. I'm so happy Kaiden and Anna are so well loved. That being said, I thought this book was ok. You need to read it if you read the rest of the series, but overall, I don't know that Kai's perspective added that much to the story. I felt it was a little all over the place and trying really hard to be sexual. At the end of the day, if this were any situation and I felt this way, it would have been a 3/5, but this series is great, Anna and Kai make me smile, and the scene at the end made me cry. Again.

I thought this book was pretty great!! I love getting perspectives of other characters (especially when it's the hot guy the main character falls in love with) and I'm happy the author decided to write this book. The only thing I didn't like about it was that some parts of it were skipped over and I really wanted to go into detail about Kaiden's perspective in that scene or moment. But I get why some scenes Wendy couldn't go into detail about because she fit three books into one. Overall a great read, but you HAVE to read the first three books, that are Anna's perspective, before you read this book, otherwise you might miss some crucial things.

I loved Kaiden's perspective and seeing how he changed throughout the book! I'm going to miss reading about my favorite boy now that I've finished ☹️

La mia opinione sulla serie: http://wefoundwonderlandinbooks.blogspot.it/2017/08/speciale-la-mia-opinione-sulla-serie.html

Oh, Kai...

“I think Anna Whitt is bad for my health.”

Stars (Out of 10): 8/10 Stars

Overall Thoughts: I thought this book would feel like a useless addition to the series, but it actually gave way more of insight into Kaidan’s character, as well as embellished on points not fully explained in the original trilogy. The epilogue was also way more general, and focused on the after as a whole, not a specific scene in the future, so I felt we got a much more complete ending to the series.

SPOILERS BEGIN HERE

The Good: I really liked the side of Kaidan we got to see in this, and more fully see how he changes and deals with everything. I also found a different kind of closure in this book that I didn’t find in Sweet Reckoning, as I thought the epilogue was way more explanatory of their future after the demons were gone.

The Bad: It technically didn’t have a plot besides Kaidan’s and Anna’s relationship, so in some chapters it felt a bit empty. I would’ve liked some additional information or something going on, but I understand how that would’ve been tough to keep true to the other plot that occurred in Sweet Evil.

The Characters: I liked the different side of Kaidan we got to see in this book, and how it explained his actions throughout the series. I really hated the guy in the first book and a half for what he did to Anna, but knowing it was all Belial’s fault changed that.

The Plot: I really understood why the author mentioned to read this after the other three, since there is no way I would’ve known the actual plot without having read the other series first. While it mentioned events, it didn’t explain the plot, since Kaidan wasn’t truly in the know of it at all times.

The Favorite Character: Marna

Well, this book didn't disappoint. I didn't think the series could keep getting better but it does and I don't know if my heart can any more of the steamy scenes. The characters are growing within each book and the relationships that are being created just make the book that more gut-wrenching when the worst happens. I absolutely loved the ending to this series.

Sweet Temptation is a companion novel to the Sweet Trilogy. It is the the entire trilogy from Kai's point of view and condensed. I loved the original three books so I was super excited to get to see what Kai was thinking the whole time.

If you haven't read the original three books you probably should. There are some time jumps, not everything is covered in this book, and I imagine it wouldn't be that good of a book if you read it as a stand alone. I think you would probably be confused at times. Really the other books are so good why wouldn't you want to read them first?

Kai and Anna are so amazing together. I loved re-reading pieces of this story with Kai's voice in my head. I knew he had a hard time with things, but he is so sweet. He just wants to keep Anna safe even if that means pushing her away. He was great and I love spending any time I can with these characters.

You don't see as much of Anna in this one since they did have such a long time apart. You really see how often Kai wanted to call her, how she changed him and made him want to be a better person. He has a lot of insecurities, but man it was great.

It was fun read for me. I was reading at first all tense like what is happening? Will they be able to figure this out? Will Kai finally let Anna in?? And it is just like wait, I know what happens, calm down. It will all be okay in the end. Really a great addition to this series.

Am I re-reading this in the year of our lord 2025? yes. am I doing it for the joy bc this year is hard af? also yes. Did i love every second of it? absolutely yes I love this story sssmuch

that epilogue scene will never fail to make me whimper with SOBS like?! I can't
