this is the first riley sager book i’ve read and i did not expect it to have any supernatural elements so i was insanely surprised about 3/4 of the way through. i didn’t see any of the twists coming at all - everything i guessed was wrong. listened on audio and LOVED bernadette dunne who added so much mood and character to the setting. i didn’t love it enough to reread although i sort of am tempted, just to try and see everything coming this time. i loved our main character, an unreliable narrator is always one of my favorites. the several taylor swift song references were a little weird
