These stories are always so sweet, slightly over the top, and perfectly predictable. I enjoyed Shepherd and Everlys love story and will likely continue reading the series even though they are standalone books in the series đź’•

This book is steamy!!!

I love this story! It was detailed perfectly and the characters were so real and funny. The storyline wasnt overly dramatic and the relationship developed naturally. I almost didnt read this book because of the mixed reviews but I am so glad I did. I love it.

DNF at 12%. This book had such a good premise but I can’t get over the fact that the main character’s sister wants the main character to convince her boss (the love interest) to be a sperm donor. Like who the hell asks that? You’ve never met the man but he checks your boxes. Who cares that it isn’t professional or anything. Just smh.

A Feel-good, sweet, sexy, funny romance with little drama for a rainy afternoon.
I really love the cover, his father and her friends!
So let's start Hazels book.

There were a lot of plot points that didn’t really make sense realistically. The things that led to the fake relationship was so far-fetched, but the story made me laugh and smile. It was just a nice, quick, charming read.

This was painful.

This story follows Everly Dalton who has had really bad experiences with dating. Now, she's sworn off dating men forever and is going to work on being the best assistant she can be. Her co-workers don't understand how she can handle being the assistant to billionaire Shepherd Calloway since he is known to be so cold.

Shepherd Calloway is tired of being with women who only want him for his money. Done with dating he is going to focus on work but when his ex tries to hurt him, he decides he must put her in her place. He decides he needs a fake girlfriend and who is better for the job than Ms. Everly Dalton.

But, when Everly needs a favor being her bosses fake girlfriend seems like the perfect opportunity to cash it in. But when one thing leads to another Everly starts to learn that there's more to Shepherd than what she initially thought of him. Now they both need to decide if their feelings are still fake or real.

I enjoyed this novel. I liked how the relationship progressed. There were so many funny scenes and I like how the characters had to put a lot of effort into their fake relationship. I really liked the friend dynamic in this story, and I loved how supportive they were.

Overall, I really liked this romantic comedy and I cannot wait to continue with this series.
