While this book does offer tips and advice on how to deal with the inner voice, I'd consider it more of a psychology book than a self-help book. So if someone was looking for step-by-step instructions on how to manage their inner voice, this doesn't have that, but I think it is worth checking out. For me, I find it fascinating to read about how our inner voice impacts us and the world around us, and I found this book helpful. I also thought the audio version was well done, the author is the narrator, and they were engaging and easy to focus on.

An interesting book about perhaps the most important and definitely the longest conversation we have - the one with ourselves in our own minds. The author is a psychologist who studies our inner voice and provides not just background information and case studies, but also useful techniques to overcome some of the worst habits of our inner monologue. The author himself reads the audiobook.
