This book took a different direction to what I was initially expecting but i’m so glad it did. At times I found it a little bit hard to stay engaged but aside from that I adore this book. I can’t go into detail without spoilers but it’s a beautiful story with sapphic main characters, spirituality & connection.

This was a book presented in my digital library for pride month. Clicked on it not knowing what it was about besides being a pride book, by a black author, and had black characters. I didn't know it was a romance novel. If I did I probably wouldn't have downloaded it. Glad I just downloaded it not know because I really enjoyed the book. The journey of the different characters. I love the tenderness of the characters even the men. I loved how the men could cry, be loving, feel their feelings and not be weak. Really glad this book found its way to me

One of my favorite books now. I learned so much about healing, all different forms of love, and it felt like the author truly loved each of the characters she wrote.

I loved the atmospheric writing and character development.

I felt like it tried to weave too many storylines together and with 300 pages, it was stretched thin. There was also too much explanation through dialogue.

I'm marking this as has spoilers so that less people read my review and I'm only writing one bc then I can see my thoughts on it in the future but I'm telling you now this isn't a good review, don't read my review.

Idk if I'm a good judge for this book... The whole book I found myself uninterested and distracted. I skimmed like 3 chapters and then was able to start reading 76% and on I liked, I could finally see a plot, and it was good! I really wanted to like this book more than I did. Queer Black girls who are into astrology? Like say less, I really wanted to be into it but I just couldn't and I wish I could explain it. I think it was just bc there wasn't enough plot for me? This book makes me confused over why I couldn't get into it. I wanted to give up and leave it unfinished but I couldn't bring myself to leave it. I wish I had the audio book I could a finished it faster and maybe not have skipped those 3 chapters. Anyways yeah, I only like the ending. It was sweet and made me cry 76% and on.
