Loved the story and characters and setting but the writing was not the best and a bit redundant when it came to the poignant points. Would love to read the author’s follow up novel.
DNF@44% 2.5 rounded down. I typically enjoy contemporary family dysfunction but this just didn’t do it for me. Despite getting almost halfway through the book, it didn’t really feel like much was happening
