The second book in the series, now focusing on Keena Oliver, a healer, and Rhyker Kingsley, a jaguar shifter. The story follows them as they tow the line between friendship and something more, all the while also having multiple plots going on and switching to various other member’s POVS. This book has a LOT of POVS and would definitely be better if you read the first book in order to get a better grasp of the second one. The main story involves Keena and Rhyker getting together, and both dealing with their toxic and abusive exes. It’s a fun story to read and since I’ve read the first book it was nice to revisit a lot of the characters from the first book and their continuing journey. I am 100% on board for Nico and Aliena, and can’t wait to read their story. I had a lot of fun reading this book and it was interesting to see where the story lines were going. It’s a fun series to read and if you like paranormal romance with a splash of action and mystery this would be right up your alley!

Book 2 was just as good, if not better than book 1! Picking up where "Calypso's Heart" left off, Rhyker now takes center stage as he tries to work through his personal demons and woo the shifter lady of his dreams. . . who has her own baggage to carry. The chemistry between Keena and Rhyker is off the charts, and their banter is hilarious. There are times when I found myself vocally begging them to actually TALK to one another about their issues and feelings rather than trying to one-up each other in the flirting/not-flirting department. (Just like a few couples I know in real life.)
It was also wonderful to get views into Caly and Blake's life as part of the pack. I adored this couple in the first book and was thrilled that they weren't simply pushed to the wayside now that their book is done. Nico and Aleie's story ramp-up was also delved into in this volume. It makes for a nice segue into more books in the series. . . but it took enough reading time away from Rhyker and Keena that I started loosing track of them. (Please don't get me wrong, I ADORE Nico and his broody ways.)
The pack dynamic is always so vibrant and energetic. Everyone has a fully fleshed-out personality that adds to the feeling of diversity, family, and home. From Monday Movie Nights to brotherly brawls that take out the entire front room, they are a high octane group that does everything at full force - including perusing the love of their lives.
This is not a quick read. The page count, like the details that describe the world the characters inhabit, is not skimped on. There were a few moments that I felt the pacing dragged a bit, but never so much that I wanted to give up the book. The few writing issues that I had with the first installment are no where to be found in this volume. It was a fun read from beginning to end and I am looking forward to more books by this author.
Recommended for fans of Patricia Briggs, Ilona Andrews, and Laurel K. Hamilton.

The last 20% had me on the edge of my sit and I couldn’t stop readding!! I didn’t expect those plot twists and I was about to start screaming! This book was full of banter, love and friendship! And their casual pack nights were my thing❤️
This is the sequel to Calypso’s heart, a beautiful paranormal romance packed with action!!
I loved how yoga and pole dancing were used as an exercise and soul healing at the same time. I still can’t believe we didn’t get the smut scene after the “second room” chapter. I was so looking forward to it!! But I loved the smut scenes. They were sooo steamy!!
The beggining of the book was really captivating and I really enjoyed Rhyker’s and Keena’s romance. Their story was beautiful. And their wild side even more!
The book felt dragging arround 50-60 percent and some descriptions and inner dialogs were really long. But then Nicos POV came along. And can I say he became my favorite? Because he did! I was looking forward reading about his and Aleia’s story. I think they were my favorite part of the book.
I still can’t believe the next book is not their story!! How is this possible??!! I hope we get more of them in the next book! The possibilities are endless and I can’t stop thinking about them!
I want to thank M.C. Solaris for gifting me an eARC of this book!!

This is another huge book (700 pages) in this series., but I wouldn't have it another way. The crew is back and they are awesome. I really, really love these characters, like all of them. In the first book Rhyker was just Rhyland's brother for me, like ok, you are the brute twin and nothing more. I was so wrong. Rhyker is a loving, smart and amazing male. On the other hand, Keena was not my favorite in this book. She is a mess for a mind healer. I wouldn't trust her to even cure a migraine. She should stop thinking actually, and go and find another mind healer for her, that would save us some time. She is so lucky that Rhyker is her mate and we can't do anything but love her for that.
What I love about these books, is that the story is not focusing on one couple. We actually see all the characters and their POVs, so you don't get to miss them.
I won't rate this book higher than the first book, maybe 3,5 instead of 3, because everyone's inner thoughts are killing me. I just wanted to grab them and shake some sense into them. But well, noone is purrfect right?!
Of we go to Deacon's Star.It will be out soonish!!
I received an Arc from NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving my review!

Rhyker's Key is a fantastic second book in the Orion's Order series. It is definitely better enjoyed and followed after reading book one Calypso's Heart. This book follows Keena and Rhyker while developing other characters and relationships as well. This captivated my attention from the very beginning and held it throughout. The storyline is well developed and very interesting. Characters are easy to connect to and I am very excited to read more about them in future books.
I received a free copy of this book from the author and I am voluntarily reviewing this , all opinions are my own , honest and freely given.
Ok, I am in shock, because I’m in love with M.C. and also deeply annoyed, she knows I hate cliffhangers and yeah whilst it doesn’t technically count as a cliffhanger ending, it leaves things unresolved for another character to read in future books. (Does not affect our main couple whose plot is resolved in this story)
Let’s start with Rhyker, I love the twins, very very much and he’s my favourite of the pair so I went running, screaming and very happily into this book, threw myself in. I wasn’t disappointed, I loved it so much , it’s a long book, but I love that because I am enjoying it so much I’m always ecstatic when there is still more to go. Rhyker is a great alpha male, he’s badass, strong, a shifter , gorgeous and completely loveable. Like all the males in these books, not misogynistic, I would say the males are feminists (even when overprotective)and I love them all.
Keena is lovely, a great strong woman, she has her weaknesses , her faults but she’s loves and works at it , that’s what makes he so strong and loveable, no miscommunication, always plain speaking. Completely loved her.
My main criticism was there was a bit too much Aleia and Nico for me, don’t get me wrong I loved them both, can’t wait for their book which I really do wish was next, but I can wait, kinda ! But I just wished we were spending that time in this book with Rhyker and Keena. I kind of also hope Cecille is in future books and gets some kind of karma , please !
I loved this book, I can’t wait for Deacon and Starr’s book next (but still wish it was Nico ha ha) if you love your romance fully of great characters, an addictive story and great steamy romance, you will love this. (and to be ready to demand Nico’s book at the end)
Thanks so much Marina, but equally I’m so mad at you for making me wait

I loved the first book in this series and this one didn't disappoint either. Filled with fantastic characters, that I really love to see interact. What I love about these characters is that they are flawed but in very normal ways. Keena is still reeling from an abusive relationship while Rhyker was forever transformed by someone crushing his heart and stealing his trust. Learning to trust again is never easy but these two broken souls can find a way through once they open themselves up again.
While the story focuses on Kenna and Rhyker all the other characters play important roles in the action. As they are still searching for the Mastermind, a mentalist who has his sights set on Cassy. Well developed characters and a great story line keep this series moving along. I can't wait until the next one

I listened to a review copy of Rhykers Key was more than I expected . After listening to book 1 Calypso’s Heart I was eager for Rhyker’s Key on audio and boy was I in for a treat . MC Solaris went above and beyond with this book and I was happy , sad , angry , amused it was like an emotional rollercoaster ride. I loved Rhyker in CH and was happy he got his own book (oh and I licked him so he’s mine)
I will admit to being grumpy a little over 50% while reading. I was so confused why Rhyker’s novel wasn't mainly about R&K. Then - it all made sense with the twist. That twist made everything click.
