This book gave me so many warm and fuzzy feelings! I am not a fan of the Vegas plan but everything else was exactly what I needed from this story.
Everything I didn't like in 'The worst best man's  writing was resolved in this one. I had such a great time listening to this.
Now, Brandon and Layla's story next, please!🥺 Or the sapphic fake dating story. Just give me more stories with these characters, Miss Mia .😭😭😭

One of my favorite things about this book is the fact that Solange and Dean were genuinely friends before they started actually dating. Sure, the fake-dating was in the mix, but before the feelings became real, they had a genuine friendship and cared for each other in all the small ways that make up a successful relationship.

Also, their attraction was off the charts. The TENSION. The YEARNING. Oof. It was hot. But, at the same time, for all the reasons they worked, their personal reasons for not wanting a relationship made complete sense and didn't seem at all far-fetched. I really appreciate the discussion of how our parents' life track affects how we view relationships.

Overall, this was such a cute book and it was a real good listen!

The Wedding Crasher is a loose follow-up to The Worst Best Man, so make sure you (re)read that first, otherwise you might miss some of the interplay between the Tias and the cousins.

The Wedding Crasher follows Solange and Dean, who meet when Solange steps up an objects to Dean's wedding. Because the bride is in love with one of the groomsmen. And then both of them need a fake relationship - Solange's mother lied to family member in Brazil who's coming up for a visit, and Dean lied to his bosses in an attempt to gain favor and be made partner - and they need it fast.

In general, it's a fun romp around DC, though there are more serious subplots, though they add to the plot, making it very fun and interesting story about finding out who you really are and what really matters. Though I am annoyed
Peter
does not get what's coming to him, what with the sex party and how he treated Kimberly.

This was a solid moderately steamy romance. OOO there were a couple of SCENES my god. Anyways, this is set in DC which you love to see. It features a diverse set of friends and has quite a bit of rep on all fronts, from what I remember. Love the fake dating trope, love the steamy scenes, love the writing style and am excited to read her other ones set in the same friend group.

Everything a romance should be. An absolutely stunning, adorable novel that has quickly become one of my favorites! As usual with Mia Sosa, I adore all the characters in equal measure: Dean and Solange were so interesting as individuals, as well as so so cute together as a couple. Their internal struggles and conflict as a couple made a lot of sense for their characters, and wasn't just thrown in for drama's sake. And who wouldn't love Solange's support system — the tias are iconic! There's really not much to say here but that I loved it and recommend it.
