I love her writing and her characters are always well drawn.

As expected, another good book from Jojo Moyes. Laughed and felt my heart pulled at a few times. Little slow, but worth getting to know the characters.

Note: the word surreptitious was used enough for me to notice. Maybe it’s a British thing.

It was slow to start, but I ended up loving this book!

Some of the situations lapsed into two much slapstick, but ultimately this was a nice story of flawed human beings learning from their past mistakes and trying to stay true to who they are. I did come to care about the characters and their fate. It was a sweet tale without being overly cavity inducing!

3.5 stars, I think. More soppy Jodi Picoult-esque than I would have liked, but totally enjoyable and readable and I was into the romance.

I enjoyed this on many levels. As a romance it's more complex than most. The characters are quirky and not overly idealized. I laughed and worried all the way through.

Quick, fun read.

Totally believeable and interesting. I loved the characters and didn't want the book to end. But that's the way I feel about all of Jojo Moyes books.
