Annoying, whiny FMC. Love the Canadian setting but just not worth the time.
I love Fern Brookbanks. She's so strong and I'm glad how she turned out to be. I don't like that she was the one to go after Will in the end even when he was the one who left twice. I don't like someone who'll pick me as the one they'll drop when everything else becomes too difficult. I wouldn't want a 3rd time with that person.

This is a good book, I just wish I could have developed more of an attachment to the characters. I read this book before I read Every Summer After, so I didn’t have as much of a problem with the book as some others do! I really wish there would have been more of a relationship development between Will and Fern! I can’t imagine being in love with someone after spending 24 hours with them, and pining over them for almost a decade after they ghosted you.
