Taboo, forbidden, and a wild read I couldn't put down!
Returning to the wilderness has never been so scintillating and so innocent all at the same time. The Untamed is a fantastic awakening of taboo feelings, teenage hormones, and deep rooted connections all rolled up into one forbidden book. A must read for lovers of these tropes.
I am a huge fan of the Wild world and I loved revisiting it through the eyes of Daddy Reed's children. From every angle you get the perspective of how close their family is, but also the uniqueness that radiates from each one of his children. There is also a piece of Reed and Devon that flows through each child, some of the wilder traits that helped keep them alive and thriving in the vast wilderness alone for the past few decades. While they are familiar with the dangers of living in the wild some of the children are beginning to suffer from teenage hormones and you can imagine the lusty thoughts that now run through their minds as they have no where to project their thoughts because of this solitary life.
Reed and Devon only wanted to protect and keep their family safe, living a sheltered life can also feel like a prison to the wilder and more free spirited children. Unfortunately, the more Devon and Reed protect their kids, as they get older, it only got harder to keep them from being hurt, both emotionally and physically.
Jumping back into this world I was expecting the emotional part, given the taboo aspect of this book, but I wasn't expecting the undercurrent of intrigue and the huge cliffhanger that brought tears to my eyes. Now I can't wait to find out what happens next. For so many reasons. ALL the reasons!
Always be sure to check out CW's, this book may not be for everyone

the wild world in general is so fascinating to me. i love the alaskan wilderness aspect with survival and how they made their own little homestead.
i don’t feel right rating untamed and unruly by stars yet because i’m just not sure where i stand currently.
i went into this knowing it was mmf. i’m just not a fan of mm, but i HAD to know more about reed and devon’s childrens stories. if i was, this would be a no brainer. this is just a me-problem.
i’m excited to read rowdy’s story in the future!

I'm obsessed with K. Webster and this series. This one is a second generation following Reed and Devon's kids and oh my god. everything about this is amazing. K really blew this out of the water.

I didn't read the others in this series but I will definitely be going back to read them. I loved this book so much!
I finished The Untamed last night and I had to let this story digest, marinate, let the dust settle. I am still grappling with that ending, it was exquisite, K Webster worthy, and so cruel of her to leave me hanging like that.
I love Daddy Reed and Devon, have followed them through their journey to find their place, their happiness in the Alaskan wilderness. Now they have a huge family, wonderful children who don't know any different than the beautiful mountainside that they live on. They are content, sure of what life is and how each of them fits into this family. Until the trespassers... this large group of men, women and children invade the serenity and peacefulness of this family, causing them to question what they know and who they are.
The Untamed mainly deals with Raegan, Ryder, and Ronan's transition to adulthood, finding themselves through their adolescence years, experimenting, exploring their sexuality.
I can't reveal any more, as it will spoil the book for anyone who has not read it. But I must say, that ending, I did not see that coming, and I didn't not expect how it would impact me.
Bravo K Webster, sensational and riveting story!

Ohh I hate a cliffhanger but I was so glad to be back in the Wild world. There is plenty of angst but less spice than I was expecting.
I am eagerly awaiting the next release.

It’s 20 years later, Reed and Devon have a family, and a homestead most Alaskans would be jealous of, in fact you might just meet some of them in this story. This is the first book in this part of the Wild series and it’s going to shake you. You are going to have questions, but don’t look for answers because you aren’t going to get them. There is that dreaded cliffhanger but not to fear the next book will be out in a couple of weeks!
This is the third book in this series, characters from both book one and two are present in this one, so for continuity sake I think you should read all the books and read them in order. You are going to regret it!
But remember to read the trigger warnings and know that they are no joke, this series isn’t going to be for everyone, but I can’t seem to stop reading it!

If it's a taboo book by KW then I'm going to read it, and I like that she's continuing her Wild series. That being said I didn't get super into it like I have her other books, I think that's because it felt like half the story, which it is as there is another book, but I kinda wanted it to be just one bigger book so I get all the story and all the spice. There wasn't much of it in this one, and I just found myself getting frustrated how naive they all were about the trespassers and could see how it was going to end... well onto the next one.
