I've read a ton of romantasy books, and this book was a breath of fresh air. Can't wait to finish the series!

I wish I liked this more. I will attempt to finish the series but the world that the FMC falls into is poorly explained and doesn’t make much sense. The MMC saves the day with his POV chapters and how much he tries not to like the FMC. But my god can we please get a fantasy book with a Black FMC AND MMC??

I could have given it more time but I felt like for a “fantasy” book there were little fantasy elements and it was entirely focused on the romance between the two characters. Also the dialogue was very cringy at times

This was a fun and immersive read. I love it when authors are able to transport me into the worlds they’ve created. I fell in love with the main characters, Caz and Willow early on. Their slow burn was absolutely worth it! They are one of my favorite couples now. 

Tethered souls, plot twists, mystic creatures, a sizzling love affair… This story was unlike any I’ve ever read before! I am thoroughly looking forward to reading the next two books in the series. 

*There were quite a few typos but that didn’t take away from the overall story.
