(Admiringly) She's a psychopath!! Weirdly enjoyed this one - it's ultra-cynical and despairing while being kind of a pulpy romp at the same time. The tech stuff in particular was depressingly realistic, as were the awful white men. The lead is not UNlikable, but I did keep her at arm's length even as I enjoyed reading her. 

The book just flew by for me.

I am absolutely obssessed. Scifi/thriller in an isolated setting, my beloved.

When I realized Kristen was kinda fucked up, I started to see the direction this book might take. I think what gave it away for me definitely was when she gauged the damage that falling off the roof would do. I absolutely thought she had planned the crash as revenge for something, but began to doubt this when she broke down about the house keeping women in. Beautifully written.
