Another fantastic zombie book from Max Brooks. This is a thoroughly enjoyable read even though it's written like a non-fiction field manual. There are so many fascinating "warnings" and "tips" and it is still somewhat terrifying even though it is a "factual" description of situations to avoid. Highly recommend for any fans of the zombie genre.
surprisingly deeply detailed, making me rethink every zombie media i'd ever seen. if i ever write about a/the zomvie apocalypse, i will turn to this book first!
After reading World War Z, I bought this little gem. If you are worried about a zombie attack, not even the CDC procedures are as detailed as this book. It has everything you need to survive: from how to protect yourselves, which are the best weapons, what supplies to have handy, how and when to move... etc.

Max Brooks is a wonderful writer and the zombie survival guide is overall a great book for readers into the zombie culture. Like the title states this is about surviving in a world that is overrun by the walking dead. The dos and don't dos and more. Check it out and see some of Max Brooks other works which are equally as good if you're into the walking dead, chew, zombies, etc.
