This book was ok. The Christmas setting was great. I wasn’t a huge fan of the FMC and her refusal to listen to any explanation. Fans of miscommunication and enemies to lovers would like this book

This was a cute Christmas book. I did appreciate that it wasn’t spicy as it’s good to take a break from time to time. It gave me hallmark vibes which I enjoyed. This is a good book to get into the holiday spirit.

“It’s about all those little moments, the ones that seem so mundane at the time but end up being completely magical when you think about losing them.”
This was adorable. A little Hallmark Christmas movie in a book. It was so cheesy and over-the-top unbelievable but I loved every minute of it. Definitely no work of art, but fun and exactly what I want in a Christmas book. Laurel is so messy and the fact that her family and nemesis goes along with this charade is wild but makes for a cute little rom-com.

Overall a cute hallmark-type Christmas rom-com, but sometimes Laurel’s hate for Max was too aggressive and uncalled for. She needed to just let him talk sometimes.

Loved every minute of this Hallmark Channel worthy Christmas book. By the title alone, you can tell it’s a faking dating trope… but let me tell you, it done so well. I loved the focus on different types of relationships but also learning to own who you are and love yourself, flaws and all.
“Faking Christmas” has it all! Cheese factor of the best kind, fun pop culture woven throughout, humor, the perfect faking date trope, no real spice but some sexual tension, life lessons and strange yet lovable characters. Also a very realistic ending (no spoilers) that will warm your soul and remind you of the importance of family and/or friends that will love and except you for you. ❤️
It’s a very quick read and I highly recommend.
