This was one of the few books assigned by English teachers that I actually enjoyed. I don't think I would have read this story if it wasn't assigned. It had amazing metaphors and it brought to light a couple of different things. Such as judgment, hope, confession, etc. Everything that was mentioned in this book was insightful and really good. I recommend this if you don't mind super long paragraphs and an interesting look at the world.

This was...rough to get through. I was excited to finally get around to it, but after the first chapter I felt like he already said all he had to say about the subject, and the rest was just a lot of words of nothing to rehash what was already established.

Great book that raises many interesting questions such as " What if all of us had to wear a letter for each of our " sins"? There would be no fabric untouched by letters. I loved this book for so many reasons then and as an adult I often still think of it in today's society where " adultery" is a dirty word for having an affair. I think red As are a GREAT IDEA!!!
