If we really love people, we shouldn't be hiding any aspect of who we are. Part of love is being willing to tell the truth- in all areas."Friends to lovers" isn't my favorite trope, but if it's written right I might just like it and Emma St. Clair was able to make me feel good.
Harper and her story about her trying to find out why she is the way she is was understandable but I feel like it was kind of rushed and missed a few steps here and there (unless I missed something, maybe from other books).
Chase, on the other hand, was a well-written character, his love for Harper is obvious and he would do anything for her.
I enjoyed the second part of the book more - especially the scenes with the goat and their camping trip for work. (The tent scene was cool

Fair warning: this book is a lot heavier than the other ones in the series. I still gave it five stars because Harper and Chase's story really connected with me. I related to Harper in more ways than one which was crazy. I absolutely loved the way Chase cared for her. Their relationship was absolutely perfect! I can't say anything more about it without getting into spoilers, but seriously this book became very special to me very quickly.

Did not enjoy the audio production—might have enjoyed more if I’d read it.

Simply adorable! Friends to lovers is quickly becoming one of my favorite contemporary tropes. There is just something about already having that deep connection and then adding in the romance that makes it so perfect. I also loved the autism/sensory disorder representation. It creates such unique hurtles for Harper and Chase. Loved this book!
