THIS BOOK WAS AMAZING. I had been in like a 2 week reading slump and this cured it in the first 20 pages. Its fun, spicy, sweet and so so good. Micheal is a professional chef on a baking contest where Alice (who has a major crush on him) happens to be a contestant. He couldnt be less interested in what was going on until he saw her and then all bets are off. Immediatly he says "yep thats my wife" and the possesive alpha part of him kicked in. Watching him and Alice try to be normal on TV was tension out of this world

3 and a half stars: a quick, fun read! It was cute but good gracious they didn’t waste time doing anything lol

It’s a cute quick read. It’s too short to really dig into the characters, even less about their instant bond, but it’s cute when you don’t overthink it. I just really enjoy this author’s writing style. Just feels very easy to read and always feels very immersive.

Eat the Cake!

Best way to end a story.. Eat the cake!

Nice quick story following Alice meeting the love of her life on a baking competition show.

Chef Kesso is all that and a bag of chips! - or rather cookies .

Utter holiday spice perfection. It gave what it promised and I ate up (lol) every page of it.

Short, sweet, SPICY and just what the doctor ordered for a between-heavy-books need. I also went through a span of time where I binged the Great British Baking Show every time I had a streaming service in my hands so I'm a bit partial to the entire premise of the story.

I can't give too much away with descriptions but if you're looking for something spicy with the right amount of angst and a happy-ever-after, grab this one to get you in the holiday spirit.

Cute holiday romance. Very insta-love. Wouldn’t mind a longer version
