this was insanely instalove/instalust filled and that’s one trope i absolutely despise… but other than that this was fun to read! i wish the characters had had more personality/individuality, but honestly for what this was, it wasn’t bad!!

This was a short but sweet and spicy novella. She was coming to win money and to do what she loves baking in a LIVE contest. She did not expect to get what she has always wanted and that was Michael a famous chef who is also a judge on the show. So she is a contestant and he is the judge could it end well it depends on who you ask!

Very much enjoyed this holiday novella. Alice is between jobs, life in upheaval and her cousins have signed her up for a live streaming baking contest show. She has been majorly crushing on one of the judges, Michael, for years. Unbeknownst to her, when he first sees her the attraction is instant and strong on his part and he is determined to make her his. This was a fun story, with scenes that had me laughing out loud, but it's also steamy at the same time. If you love age gap, intense chemistry and insta-love than this is definitely for you!

I was expecting just a dash more romance than it had bc I love S.J. Tilly books but this one missed the mark
