What a true delightful story this was! And it was a surprise too. Ever since I discovered this author, I have had this one on my watchlist and it was so cute. Now could this have been a full length novel with more relationship depth to it? Yes it most definitely could have been. But it was charming, full of Christmas cheer and the romance was spot on. I love how our hero and heroine connect to each other and the vivid emotions in this book that just struck deeply. I just couldn't get enough and I was so easily caught up in the story as well. There is something so addictive about this writing style that this author uses that sucks you into a story. And I don't think I have read a romance that features a bake off tv show, so that was so so interesting and different but fun and lively and I am just craving more of this author.

This has to be the cringiest instalove book/novella I’ve ever read. The instalove was WAY too insta. 2 stars because of how many times I laughed at how ridiculous it was.

I love SJ Tilly! This is a perfect Christmas novella, especially for fans of The Great British Bake Off. To be honest all I could imagine Michael as, was Paul Hollywood!
This might be a novella but it isn't lacking in anything! The spice, the drama, the holiday spirit.
I don't normally love Insta Love; I'm a big fan of enemies to lovers and this was the exact opposite but it worked so well! I'm really hoping this isn't the end of the novellas because this was perfect!
Also on a weird note, I absolutely loved the book layout, the paper used and the size of book/pages!

I really loved how this book started. I'm a sucker for cooking shows... any type of cooking show! Why not make it a Christmas cooking show?! YES!
Alice is a contestant who's had a long-time crush on one of the judges, Michael. I feel like this story had some promising groundwork but I just couldn't get into the story. I wasn't a huge fan of Michael and wanting to marry her at first sight. Their love just wasn't believable to me. I got more creepy vibes than anything, and not the good kind.
