Where should I start with another wonderful listen by AK MacBride? This is a beautiful story of love and second chances at finding happiness. Harper has been on the run with her son for years. Finally settling in Willow Creek, she feels like she is home, Could it be because of her handsome neighbor Logan? Logan has reached the point where he wants to settle down and smitten with Harper and Flynn. Both harbor secrets which could destroy their budding relationship. What will happen when they are exposed? Harper is such a strong woman. Nothing will stop her from protecting her adorable son(he steals the show) even feelings for Logan. Logan is so patient, ready to wait as he integrates himself into their lives. Love this hero! MacBride deals relevant issues and let us enjoy this couple.
Gregory Salinas and Stacy Gonzalez bring this story to life. Salinas is always wonderful to listen to. He understands his characters and brings out all of the personality traits perfectly. This is my first listen by Gonzalez and I enjoyed her voice. She matches how I would think Harper sound and gives her strength with vulnerability. I enjoyed their performance and I look forward to more!

AK MacBride is a new me author. Enjoyed Shattered so much. Both Logan & Harper have pasts they wish they could forget. Luckily they find each other & learn to accept each others histories. Excellent narration by Gregory Salinas & Stacy Gonzalez (also new to me).

Wow - this is my first book by A.K. MacBride, but it will certainly not be my last. From the opening pages I was locked into a beautifully written romance filled with so much emotion and depth I could not put it down. The baggage and secrets that both Harper and Logan came into the relationship with were at times frightening and heart wrenching. The characters had an instant pull that the reader could feel right from the beginning and it was such a joy to watch them fall in love. I cannot wait for more in this series!!

Great start to the series
I got this book through KU on a whim (that beautiful cover and interesting blurb grabbed my attention) and can honestly say it was totally worth it.
Having not read this author before, I took a chance and was rewarded with an amazing story.
Harper is running from her past. She is beautiful, guarded and definitely broken.
Logan is also running from his past. He is determined, attentive and (from the description in the book) a hella good looking guy.
The slow burn was hypnotic and I found myself finishing this book before I knew it.
Definitely will be read more from this author.

AK MacBride is a new-to-me author that I happened to stumble upon when I was looking for a new book that had a single-parent. And I must say, I was pleasantly surprise by how much I enjoyed Shattered!
Harper was running from an abusive relationship after finding out that she was pregnant. She ended up in Willow Creek, and her new neighbor was Logan. These two find themselves attracted to each other, but circumstances aren't always easy.
I really enjoyed Shattered, and look forward to more in the Willow Creek series!

This was my first book by A.K. MacBride. And I look forward to reading more of her work. Harper and Logan both broken by things that happened in the past overcome it all. I absolutely loved this book.

Shattered by A.K. MacBride is a single parent small town romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Stacy Gonzalez and Gregory Salinas.
This is the second book of A.K.’s that I have read and it definitely won’t be my last. I was hooked from the very beginning and couldn’t wait to see what was going to happen next. I loved the chemistry between Logan and Harper. I really enjoyed that we got both of their points of view throughout the story. It really brought the story to life.
I can’t wait for the next book in the series Wrecked to be released on audio so I can get Brett and Kenzie’s story.

I loved watching the journey of
