๐ Vengeful Gods by @elliottroseauthor 5โญ๏ธ good googly moogly, I have officially been converted to a why choose lover girl ๐ my poor husband. I told him he needs to find a boyfriend asap ๐๐๐ in all seriousness, this book was SO GOOD. I love a captor romance, and this was multiplied by 3 ungodly hot kidnappers. I loved the world building and secret society aspect, it definitely kept me on my toes trying to unravel everyoneโs secrets and lies ๐ Foxglove (coolest name ever) was such a baddie and shouts out to her for representing us girlies who like a lil danger and submission with their romance ๐โโ๏ธ each person brought their own kind of love to the relationship and they all grew together so beautifully โค๏ธโ๐ฅ the ending had me stressed AF, but thankfully it all works out hehehehe. Macabre Gods comes out soon and I cannot wait for Poe and her men, since it seems like theyโve got quite the story too ๐

This book was how I ended 2024. In fact, if Iโm being honest, I had less than an hour left when my family went to a NYE party - I may or may not have been secretly reading it on my phone. My husband of course, caught me. And I said two things. 1) Iโm not finishing out the new year with only 25 minutes left in a book and 2) I am not going to end this night without knowing how this ends!
Anyway, I was very aggressively suggested to read this book. And Iโll admit, for good reason. I loved this. It was hot AF. SO spicy. It was so twisty.
Some of it was expected, but also little hidden bits inside of the twists. and dammit these three guys are ๐ฆด ๐ ๐ฆท Something I love in a book is when the smut is directly tied to the plot. Sex is a plot point, and in that case, I can call it research literature when I talk to my therapist. Do make sure to read trigger warnings! Also, if a review says a book has too much sex, Iโm immediately on board. Your one star is my 5 star. THANK YOU.
