Whoa

So I wasn't sold on the story line even as I read it but the way this is written is awesome. The emotions just drag you in and you feel everything.

3.5 stars.. I did not like Matt at all.. I really didn't like anyone. Octavia was okay, but she was so desperate for a job. He was so nasty to her.. He treated her ok in the epilogue but the story is over then.. This story was just not for me..

2.5* and feeling generous becuase clearly there is nothing exceptional about this and the emo style angst was a bit much. Some might call me cruel for that but his problems were never clearly explained other than grief. Anyway it kept me occupied for a few hours.

the story is so cliche. an older man falling for 18 years old virgin. a single dad and his nanny. i think jo raven must runs out of idea when she write this book.

the writing style is still powerful. wordly dramatic. but the story is just empty. and the characters are typical. i can live with the characters. but i just can not live with the bland story/ plot.

I loved Matt & Tay! And I absolutely had no problem with the age difference, bc it so reminded me of my hubs & me. I was 20 when I met him, he's 13 years older, had 2 kids (4&6)... so yeah, I had a lot of understanding in the book, know how Tay felt.
This book is different than her others, also in the writing style (I think so) but it's good anyway.
If you don't have a problem with angsty books, and an age difference, go ahead and read it. Totally worth it !!

I loved this story except for one thing... You have a pretty damaged 30 year old rugged life on MAN who comes with more luggage than an airport and SOMEHOW expect an 18year old recent high school graduate young lady to be able to handle him and offer a lifelong companionship?! Now, I'm all for an age gap, but at 18 she has no life experience and that gap suddenly becomes huge! I'm so distraught over this! It ruined so many otherwise wonderful moments because in my head I'm like, "Of course she doesn't understand" and "it's because she doesn't know anything else" and "that's a bit naive"... BUT if you cam somehow overlook the unbelievable and awkwardness of the situation... It was cute and I definitely fell in love with Matt and his kids myself. Wished it was a tad longer.

Great storyline I read this through kindle unlimited and the book only runs to 42% of the total percentage. Then samples.

I didn't hate this one, but i didn't love it either, i may have to come back and re-rate it, i'm not sure.

The thing is, i didn't believe the story, i felt sorry for Octavia throughout the whole thing, he was literally just using her as a booty call, and although she knew this she still kept going back.

Now i put that down to her being immature, considering she was only 18, however he was a grown assed 30 year old adult and should have known better!

4.5 stars!!!

I really enjoyed this book! I loved both the hero and the heroine, which is rare for me. Their story was sweet and although I kind of had already guessed who the stalker guy was, I liked the suspense. I feel like it was really well written.

I'm also glad I didn't stop reading in the middle of the book because I almost did. I really don't like stories with dead exes, but I feel that after the H realized that she wasn't coming bad, that the story and romance really progressed from there.

So, overall I really enjoyed this book and would definitely recommend it!!
